I enjoyed meeting these two. Such a young handsome couple, with soo much happiness and love for their first child. They have a nickname for their little bean in the belly already: Hedgehog. Too cute how each parent bonds with their baby while they are growing inside her belly. These two are going to be amazing parents!

This beautiful mommy-to-be is a new friend of mine. She is gorgeous and I was soo excited to get a moment to photograph her and her belly. There were soo many magnificent shots from this session. But these are my favorites (give or take 1 or 2 ;) Hope you enjoy Leah. I did =)

A day at the Science Marina | Williamsburg, VA photographer

May 22nd, 2011

A family from church enjoy attending local activities. She is constantly updating her facebook page with something new that is going on. I must say, it took alittle longer to get us motivated to go. But once we did, we are soo glad we did. They are a great family to spend time with and we will have to do it again soon. The beginning photos were in this place that smelled like your science class on the day frogs were getting dissected, times 20!!! It’s bad because I think it ruined alot of the stuff the kids would have loved to hear more about. But as you can see my daughter was very intrigued and had a box full of questions for the young lady working there. At some point we had to just move her along LOL Brennan loved the microscope and playing the game “Guess the fish egg”. Bryce…. Well, Bryce was ready to get out of there most of the time. Then we moved outside to where everyone suited up (well, everyone but me and John) and went out with their nets. They caught baby shrimp, crabs, fish (sardines) and lots of seaweed. The kids loved it, and I need to remember the sunblock next time =) Thanks again John and Kelli.

Ashby Family | Williamsburg, VA Family photographer

May 6th, 2011

Want to introduce you to the Ashby Family. I didn’t have the privilege to know them for too long. But they stood up in front of church on sunday, and received prayer for Chris’s new path into the army life. The job he is entering into, is the very high intense job as a combat medic. Being a daddy to two boys and a wife waiting for him at home, this family needs lots of prayers. If you can, please add them to your list of prayers. Protection for daddy, and patience for mommy. I have been there down this road, and I know how hard it can be. So remember these photos, to help keep the prayers flowing for the Ashby family.

April 21st, 2011

I had the privilege of spending some time with this adorable little angel, Madalynn. She was soo cute with her chunky cheeks. Can you believe she was 14 days old here? Reminded me of my boys when they were this size. Thank you for allowing me to capture these moments.

Chicago Downtown | Williamsburg/Newport News, VA Maternity, Birth and Newborn Photographer, Labor Doula

March 2nd, 2011

Went home to visit the family this Christmas. To feed my night photographing urges, I had to set up a night to go downtown and photograph the night light. It was freezing cold. But we couldn’t stop shooting. It was very enjoyable with my sister in law. I look forward to maybe capturing the fireworks this 4th. Hope you enjoy as much as I did.

Hawaii Nights | Williamsburg/Newport News, VA Maternity, Birth and Newborn Photographer, Labor Doula

March 1st, 2011

When it comes to photography, I love to work with natural light during the day. As well as sneak out during the night and capture the night light. It just amazes me to see all of the light captured in a photograph, that you can not see with the naked eye while standing there. These are some shots I took while living in Hawaii. I can’t wait for it to warm up here in Virginia, so I can get out at night and photograph the Virginia night.

Recent Birth Session | Williamsburg/Newport News, VA Maternity, Birth and Newborn Photographer, Labor Doula

November 25th, 2010

My recent Birth. This was my first birth at a hospital, with the siblings. The youngest girl was the cutest thing. Constantly standing by mom’s side, making sure she was okay. Since they were at the hospital at such early hours, they were hoping she would take a nap. She was just pacing back and forth, wondering when the baby was coming. At some point, even started to rub moms feet. She was so precious. Mom also did so well. Epidural didn’t really kick in till right before pushing. No matter how much they were trying to rush it in her. So she had to work through the contractions. The family there, was so supportive, she did great. Hope you enjoy the sneak peak.

4th of July | Williamsburg/Newport News, VA Maternity, Birth and Newborn Photographer, Labor Doula

Is there anyone even out there?

I wouldn’t blame ya if you left me behind a long time ago. I am really terrible at this and yet to figure out how this is suppose to help my business.

I have been doing well. Busy with just normal life. Unfortunately, not as good with cleaning the house included in my “life” busieness. The 4th was, well…. alright. It was a day full of activities. But my attitude was much lacking and I think didn’t help the day to be too enjoyable. Here is a few shots from the day:
