This beautiful mommy-to-be is a new friend of mine. She is gorgeous and I was soo excited to get a moment to photograph her and her belly. There were soo many magnificent shots from this session. But these are my favorites (give or take 1 or 2 ;) Hope you enjoy Leah. I did =)

Sneak Peak | Williamsburg, VA wedding photographer

June 28th, 2011

I met this couple on their wedding day. They had some stressful night before the special day. This beautiful bride was hit by a car head on, driving home from the movie theater. Although they spent the whole night in the hospital, she kept reassuring me that “today was MY day” and didn’t refuse any requests from me and the main photographer. She was gorgeous on her day! This is a quick sneak peak:

Eric ~N~ Jennifer | Chicago, Il wedding

June 23rd, 2011

I am beyond happy with this wedding. Not just for the opportunity to photograph with Anthony Yoon in Chicago. But the people in the wedding. The Family and Friends. More beautiful than any photo could capture. I wish many many years of blessings with Eric and Jennifer. As well as their friends. They made this day so special for me. Thanks to you all!

A day at the Science Marina | Williamsburg, VA photographer

May 22nd, 2011

A family from church enjoy attending local activities. She is constantly updating her facebook page with something new that is going on. I must say, it took alittle longer to get us motivated to go. But once we did, we are soo glad we did. They are a great family to spend time with and we will have to do it again soon. The beginning photos were in this place that smelled like your science class on the day frogs were getting dissected, times 20!!! It’s bad because I think it ruined alot of the stuff the kids would have loved to hear more about. But as you can see my daughter was very intrigued and had a box full of questions for the young lady working there. At some point we had to just move her along LOL Brennan loved the microscope and playing the game “Guess the fish egg”. Bryce…. Well, Bryce was ready to get out of there most of the time. Then we moved outside to where everyone suited up (well, everyone but me and John) and went out with their nets. They caught baby shrimp, crabs, fish (sardines) and lots of seaweed. The kids loved it, and I need to remember the sunblock next time =) Thanks again John and Kelli.

52 week: Flower | Williamsburg/Newport News, VA Maternity, Birth and Newborn Photographer, Labor Doula

May 13th, 2011

My son grew this sunflower seed in school and brought this home for mothers day. Although it hasn’t bloomed into a beautiful flower, it’s early stages of life are filled with love. It was accompanied with two coupons; one free hug and one free kiss. I thanked him with a hug and he immediately counted that as the one free hug. Bogus ;)

Ashby Family | Williamsburg, VA Family photographer

May 6th, 2011

Want to introduce you to the Ashby Family. I didn’t have the privilege to know them for too long. But they stood up in front of church on sunday, and received prayer for Chris’s new path into the army life. The job he is entering into, is the very high intense job as a combat medic. Being a daddy to two boys and a wife waiting for him at home, this family needs lots of prayers. If you can, please add them to your list of prayers. Protection for daddy, and patience for mommy. I have been there down this road, and I know how hard it can be. So remember these photos, to help keep the prayers flowing for the Ashby family.

52 week: Sleep | Williamsburg/Newport News, VA Maternity, Birth and Newborn Photographer, Labor Doula

April 28th, 2011

The theme this week is Sleep. So, I had to wait till I could bring myself to get up early enough to catch them while they are sleeping. Unfortunately, there wasn’t the sunlight bursting through like I was hoping. The boys room was just to dark. =( So I thought I would share my daughters room. I got this adorable canopy for her bed, free from freecycle.org. If you don’t know about freecycle.org you MUST check out the freecycle in your area. It is for those items that you don’t use. But don’t want to deal with trying to sell. Also a place to put those broken items that are too big and chunky to be thrown into our landfills. She loves this thing, and has it pulled around her bed every night. Enjoy.
